Gotcha. Most grassroots stuff starts this way, which is nice.
Am I correct in undertsanding my 16x7/225 combo is acceptable in Stock with only a .5 point addition? |

Yes that'd be a legitimate build, assuming 200 UTQG.

Sounds like a competitive 4 point build would look something like:
0.250 catless header 0.500 tune 0.000 - street tire 140-200tw (non re71r/rival-s) (Not sure what would be competitive here available in sizes that would make sense for a 17x8. RS3, Z2SS, AD08R, anything else I'm not aware of?) 0.750 - 17x8 wheel 2.000 - coilovers 0.000 - sway bars 0.375 - camber plate 0.000 - camber bolt 0.125 - RLCA 0.000 - alignment Edit: Not that I can participate being half a continent away but this point build would be where I would go and I'm already on that path with coilovers and plates, 17x8 wheels and RS3s, only major things left would be headers and tune. That said, I'm not certain the spirit of this event would be to build your car for a specific point build but just use the points to determine what class your car is already in. Yes, that's actually a very common street build. Many people aren't too worried about winning and just build their cars their own way even if it's not optimal for the class they're in.
