scion frs oft problems please help

I just installed the open flash tablet and I'm having some issues. First off my car is the automatic and it will no longer auto rev match and it will change gear for me when I hit redline in manual mode. Also my check engine light is on and I'm running the stage 2 uel tune. Does anyone know what's going on?

What mods do you have on your car when you did the install?
Also if you're using the correct tune, then perhaps something happened in the installation. Try flashing back to stock, see if it's fixed, then reflash the tune you wanted.

You'll likely find more info in the Software Tuning forum.

Plug in OFT to the OBD2 port, then go to tune, then write, you should see your stock rom in the first slot. Also make sure you do not use any of the cars electrics (windows/lights) when you're flashing the rom.

Youtube has utterly destroyed the ability to both read and write user manuals.

Or open or close the doors during the flash.

ETA: I get transmission related CEL if I disconnect the OFT or OBD dongle with the ignition (power) on.

Sounds good. Yeah by anything electric, I mean anything and everything in the car (Doors/Windows/Lights/Horn/HVAC/Radio/Gas/Brake/Clutch).

I'd take it to the dealership and play dumb. I don't think the OFT had anything to do with it though. Maybe just a coincidence that the light came on at the same time.
