The parts we are drilling are not part of the main structure connected to the suspension or anything.

My drilling was 2 brackets that hold up the fenders higher, The Radiator T is mainly for attachment points with the radiator, headlights and hood lock

well my issue is with the header I run you have to remove the t brace to take the header on and off, so after getting frustrated with it I just decided to lose it. I really can't see there being that big of an issue, and if there is I will cross that bridge if it happens.

I was wondering if any one had a precise weight on the oem flywheel and clutch assembly? I tried searching and didn't find anything. Thanks!

I had a chance to drive a innovative supercharged FRS around a track I am very familiar with. (1000+ laps). The SC FRS had the full interior and had not gone to any length to reduce weight. My car is a fully gutted track car weighing 2625 with me and a quarter tank with a catless header and tune. The performance difference was dead even except I can drive further into the corner with my car. I would go as far as saying my car would win a drag race between the two.

Just thought it was fun and you guys would appreciate it. Keep on removing every pound. It is worth it.

I have a BRZ which is a weekend fun car. The total weight savings is in the range of 184 lbs without removing the interior. Including other mods like a tune and changed final drive ratio the difference is very noticeable. I am considering buying now a BRZ as a daily commuter. Do I plan to do the same? Answer is No. Too much inconvenience. I'll keep everything stock. So, it depends the case and usage.

I might get some shit for this one but...two pieces of metal, one on each side under the rear quarter glass have been cut out with a spot weld bit. I can't find my scale but I'd say probably about 2-3 lbs. I would not recommend doing this without a cage. But I'm looking for more small pieces like this to cut out. The higher the better.

Converted from freedom units to a unit of measure that both makes sense and people under the age of 60 or don't live in 'Murica can understand.
