If we built for it, we certainly could rely far less on A/C. And be comfy.
I still have this tiny hope, even though I shouldn't, that I'll someday get to build a house. Well, help design. Pay people to build. Etc...

Meanwhile, back on subject, decent article talking about the upcoming game releases. A few games I'll be playing late 2022/early 2023 once the price drops, although I am tempted to get Far Cry 6.

Any PC Gamers Around?

On that list the only thing I’m waiting for is Horizon, so not PC content lol.

Honestly, I can’t think of much that’s coming in the next year or so that I’m terribly excited about. Elder scrolls six will come out this decade if we’re lucky, maybe the new mass effect will drop in ~3 years.

Everything else has been just too much of the same. I was done with halo after reach, I don’t think it will ever be as good as reach was again, The last assassin’s creed I played was odyssey, mostly because I’m a sucker for classical history.

I think this does give me the opportunity to go back and play a bunch of the great games that I was never able to play because I didn’t even didn’t have a PC or I was just too young for them. I played some max payne on a friends computer in middle school, so I would like to play through that for real this time, and I was never able to give a crack at the original Deus Ex, i’d like to make time for that in the next few months.

Any more suggestions for older games that are a must play? I tend to stick with RPG’s, but I do like FPS if they are truly exceptional, like the half-life series.

Honestly the only games on that list that got me slightly interested are Halo Infinite and FH5. I can't comment on Horizon Forbidden as I'm just starting Horizon Dawn.

Left 4 Dead 2, Ghost Sniper Contracts, F.E.A.R.2.

You can always re-play Skyrim

Max Payne is a good one, I played through all those a couple of years back. Looking quickly through my Steam list, here are some I'd play again....

Mad Max
The Arkham series
The Risen Series
Saints Row series
Darksiders series
Fallout 3/New Vegas (4 was OK)
LA Noire
Also, while not as good as 3, Witcher 1 and 2 are worth a play.

It gets better! I say keep going. I love that game so much.

I played it several years ago. So creepy, and I jumped a lot.

The thought of a VR version of an Alien game makes me want to get rid of my VR headsets....

Out of that list I’ve tried FO4 and it was just a more depressing version of Skyrim to me. I’ve been wanting to try new Vegas.
I bought the Witcher trilogy on a steam sale after playing 3 on gamepass. 1 is rough, 2 is pretty good. I don’t have a desk to play at so I play with a controller, which makes Witcher 1 combat excruciating.

I’ll take a look at the rest of that list!

I only played FEAR 1, second one seems worth a shot. Same thing for L4D. Thanks!

I think I’m done with Skyrim. I have had it on 3 platforms and even tried the VR version. There’s nothing left there for me, I’m tired of figuring out which mod broke the game this time.

Yea, I could see where that would be a problem. I only play M/K, never controller so there's that. I played around with Saints Row The Third with a controller through Steam Link, it was OK, but it's mostly because that whole game is a goof anyway.

I just started playing Grand Theft Auto V. Never played it before. I can tell it has a lot of potential, but I'm not typically a fan of games with a lot of driving that aren't track games. Might have to pull the controller, or at least a driving wheel, out for that one.
