I think that’s Nissan marketing speak for under 1500kg dry weight. My guess is just under 1600kg curb weight, 30-40kg more than the 370Z

Camo wrapped cars make it even more obvious how much of the Z35 is just 370Z underneath. Not that I mind - they probably wouldn’t have committed to a Z35 if they couldn’t reuse so much of the Z34 to save money. But it does mean I would be very surprised if they manage to save any weight. 1400kg would be amazing if true - that would put it on par with the new Lotus Emira (1405kg/360-400HP) in terms of performance, for far less money.
