Nice! Are the TRD fender flares new? Haha, maybe. I bet people would come out in droves. If we are on the subject, my next purchase is the STI sport muffler and wouldn't mind saving on those import costs.

Yeap that new new haha. I really like the subtlety of it.

DSOmegaX STi BRZ tS Completed Build

Finally got to one of those items that surprisingly got left out in the wind as I’ve focused on other things, which is the front grille stripe. As expected, the actual OEM piece was not available for purchase, so I went with the same process as some others on here by using the silver chrome trim from subaru Europe and then having it redone in cherry blossom red. Overall the results came out fantastic! In the end I actually think I prefer this trim over the actual as it’s about half the width, keeping the stripe overall more subtle.

Looks great! Where'd you actually buy it from? And did you have it repainted at a local shop?

A couple of us picked it up from here: Chrome Plated Stripe

I took mine to a local body shop to have it properly painted. The crucial part here is having them mix the materials with enough flex additive so that it does not crinkle/crack when the piece bends.

Is that a Series.Yellow retrofitted to look like an 86 or did they get it custom painted? It looks amazing in that color!

It’s an FRS RS1 with the ‘17 86 front and back bumpers fitted on. Has the updated TRD lip kit for the ‘17+ and a slew of other TRD parts including the 14R’s carbon fiber wing.

Do you happen to have the part number for that foam piece?
