sports cars -- power to weight comparison

I made this table last year when I didn't have a car yet (or anything better to do).

These are curb weights (all fluids) and crank HP, taken from Wikipedia. Also a couple from this forum.:happy0180:

At first, I was sad that my S2000 is near the bottom of the list. Then, I was happy because I realized I can't afford hardly any of the other cars.

Maybe the Evasive Motorsports car? Not sure, but that car has similar stats.

Interesting considering BRZ with simple bolt ons (complete exhaust) and tune (say 235 crank hp = 11.7 hp per lb) gets into stock Evo/STI territory.

EDIT - actually Evasive Motorsports might be even lighter.

My FD: 2980 lb. (with 15 gallons of fuel) / (463 rwhp/.85 = 545hp) => 5.47 lb/hp. In with some pretty fast company . Some of those weights are a bit optimistic, though. F1 and F40 were more like 2750 lb., Enzo was close to 3400.

Here's an update.
I waited for a dyno & weigh-in on my car. It is 5.84lb/hp as it sits.

Also some more from randomness from around the internet.

Also please post your corrections with a link if possible. So far Wikipedia is my main portal for misinformation. ;^)

Robispec's Innovate car circa 2013. I know it's changed (even lighter, more track oriented) so it didn't make version 2.
