FWIW, you can get a complete replica set for about $200-300. Less than 1/3 the cost, unless you must have the bling of OEM parts and can afford them. Some things I appreciate OEM quality, but for some things... well, to each their own.
The bayson r side skirts have some fitment issues that would drive me crazy. So, oem for me. I am running their front lip though.

You are the first person I've heard that from. Did you use a double layer of tape?

My issue wasn't the sides, rather the wrap around parts that go in the wheel well; mine did not fit at all and in turn was damaging the paint on the rockers. I'm looking into the original pieces now.

How long did it take for you to complete the installation? What in particular about the front lip made it so difficult?

Looks good on the SWP

Front was easy for me. Use blue tape to hold up the lip, install the two bolts in front, align the ends and screw in, then screw in the remaining screws in an even fashion.

Where did you get your replica kit - Ebay? Is it ABS or Urethane? Upon reading through this thread and I'm considering doing the install myself using a replica kit - $947 seems a bit steep for some black plastic/urethane pieces that are likely going to get scratched up anyways.

I got mine off ebay or amazon, can't remember which. I do plan on getting CS style sides and rear spats from ebay soon as well. The material... I actually dont remember if it's abs or poly, but I paid under 80 for them, and I don't need to worry about damaging them. =) I have pics in the mid-atlantic sales thread if you want to see how they look.

Thanks man, installation is pretty straight forward but the oem pieces have a lot of hardware for the front lip. Id say i had to drill about 10-12 holes in the bumper and i installed it without taking the bumper off, so that is what made it difficult to actually tighten the rubber grommets and the bolts. The oem lip does not use tape, its all bolts and clips and fitment is great.

The side skirts are a breeze to install, and i really wanted oem since im going for a brz ts conversion.

Does anyone know if the Bayson STi replicas are "exact" replicas?

Autoxing STX and rules state you can run replicas of OEM lips, skirts, etc, "Exact
replicas, including weight, from alternate sources are also permitted." Generally meaning, dimensions, material, weight, etc.

what website is this??
