Wouldn't it be the close loop to open loop transition?
So far it matches the leaning out during the transition which is also why people are getting a hump in between for their MAF scale.

What about increasing the tip in fuel enrichment to address tip in knock? Seem that some of the guys have played with ignition retard to no avail, but how many have tried to attack it with fuel enrichment or both?

I think @jamesm and ztan tried that with limited sucess, but anything worth a try :-)

Too much and the car starts to stumble due to too much fuel. I just added as much as I could whilst maintaining good driveability. It's varies with different intakes.
