Dealer should be able to keep you updated at this point. They'll have the exact same info the customer service line will.

One car shows released in the pipeline meaning it's through port processing and waiting on transportation. So the ship definitely came in and they'll be hitting stores maybe Friday into next week.

Nice! With a VIN you can make a MySubaru account IIRC.

Not really, because some numbers aren’t used especially the first few.
It does mean you may have an earlier production day then say someone who has a VIN ending in a higher number.

As someone from DFW who also has a BRZ on order, I'm anxiously awaiting to see how long it takes your car to get delivered from this point! My car was ordered on 07/30 so I am hopefully not far behind.

I'm going to have to give SOA a call tomorrow, my dealer hasn't given me an update since I asked yesterday. This wait is killing me!

Oh Snap! Congrats. Did the dealer or SoA give you your VIN? I can't even get a call back or email back from them lol.

I'm also in DFW with an order in August. Curious what my ETA is.

I see you are a fellow Fiesta Owner as well. Keeping it or getting rid of it for the BRZ?

GOT MY VIN!!! Called SoA who said they couldn’t see anything, called my dealer directly and had someone pull up the order - said they had a VIN and a delivery month of November - I ordered within the first hour on the 21st of July but I’m in the middle of the country so it’ll probably take a minute to ship here therefore pushing it out of the October delivery time frame.

So, pro tip, dealer can see the VIN before SoA (calls between both were 5 minutes apart).

As of this moment, I think I'm gonna keep it. For one the cars will compliment each other well. I also just love this car, almost five years on and it is still a blast to drive.

Plus it may mean I can get away with keeping a more aggressive tire setup on the BRZ year round. I don't have anywhere in my apartment I can store an extra set of tires, so it gets expensive and frustrating trying to swap over to track day tires. But we'll see, it's kind of ridiculous how much these cars are selling for right now.
