Mod all you want. The Series-10 is just a European-spec GT86/ U.S. BRZ Limited. In 50 years, nobody is going to say "it is a shame they didn't preserve it better, it could have been worth millions!"

I have a love/hate relationship with the paint. When the 3~5pm sunlight is hitting the car from the side, it really pops. But most other times it looks like a dull silver or dirty teal. It just isn't that special and I would not fault you for doing a repaint.

I guess it just depends on how much you value the "special edition"
I personally wont remove the badges or change the color, but thats about it.

I don't think the 10 series will ever be a rare collectible, but it could be somewhat sought after for (compared to a regular 2013 FR-S):

Unique silver/blue hued paint, the gimmicky light up badges/EL panel, and dual AC (kinda funny for such a small car). Except for the BRZ heated seats, stock it had (at the time) everything an FR-S could offer and there are only so many in original condition in ATX and MTX configurations. Including the best looking (to me) front bumper skin with the SCION badge that will never be seen again.

Maybe the MTX (with OEM TRD parts thrown in) will be the rare one to hide in a barn? LOL.

I would suggest getting a wrap or looking into Autoflex. This would allow you to preserve the Silver Ignition paint (exclusive to the 10 Series). Welcome to the club

Thanks! That's the OEM Toyota spoiler. I think there were only a handful of 10 Series shipped with it.

Totally forgot to post it; #1553 is in my possession now! It’s absolutely MINT, with a very nice selection of mods, including Tein Mono Racing coilovers (with active dampening I’m installing soon!), full catback exhaust and UEL catted headers, a tune, gunmetal RPF1’s, and a nice little ducktail. Incredibly happy with it

Wow, Tapatalk really eats the image quality huh?

Is your car lowered? If so, how much.
