Hit up zach at csg. He tuned my 210 with e85 and the 69mm pulley. Ran like OEM and with the IC I never had heat soak except on track

WMI is pretty simple really. And in my opinion is a big piece to the puzzle of solving the biggest flaw/issue with the sprintex kits. Heat.
Hi!,
Can you or someone here show picture of your wmi kit install? Where dod you install it?

Im having the heat soak issues with my 210 and 75 mm pulley on 98 octane(ita like 93 i guess in the us)

Did someone tested water sparing the cooler like in old days stis?

Does hood vents change dramatically the heatsoak issue?

It's not only heat soak, in gemerally my charge temps are high after few geara pull and take a lot of time to cool.

Another question ,
Has anyone found, saw, bigger cooler with the same piping like the sprintex one?
Bigger cooler will just kill the heatsoak issue

Remember this is a air to liquid cooler. You still have the stock plastic intake pipe or you running metal?

Stock plastic one for oem look... Cops issues here... Though today to gold plate the bottom half of it that gets a lot of radiated heat

What do your IATs look like? Is your sensor in the stock location? And how do you know your heat soaking?

It's not only heat soak, in gemerally my charge temps are high after few geara pull and take a lot of time to cool.
I trunk mounted tank and pump, controller in glove box, thread tapped the map plate to run a boost reference, and injected into throttle body spacer.

I have also done on other builds just thread tapping windshield washer reservoir and mounting pump right next to it, that is the simplest and most cost effective method.

Frozen boost has a larger heat exchanger, you can also run a bigger pump with more flow.

Hood vents/scoops will help a little bit.

You could T off a wmi line and run a nozzle aimed at heat exchanger.

killer chiller/inter chiller also would help tremendously

My iat are on the intake manifold after the sc ...

WMI is a tried and true god send for IATs and heat soak.

Killer Chiller does wonders for IATs as well.

Larger HE will help a bit as well

Lots of options.

Not sure how much people on this platform with the sprintex 210 have done beyond the standard IC setup.

One user did make a full jacket for the SC unit that seemed to help but that was a one off.

I had WMI and it did wonders for IATs/heatsoak.

Air to Water HE/IC setups are common practice, principles that work and apply to any platform will work and apply to this.

Killer Chiller can make intercoolers frost over they get so cold.

You would need to figure out your own mounting solution but frozen boost has larger HE that would be easy to incorporate.

you could also get a larger reservoir and/or relocate it. larger capacity prolongs heat seek and moving the reservoir further from the engine / SC unit will prevent reservoir heat soaking removing one source of heat.

So many options.

Not many that people on this platform have done, but all have been done by many on other platforms and are proven to work.

You'll have to figure out your own solutions for this platform if you want to take it beyond the typical setup.

Thank you for your response! I guess the solution for must be the water injection to reduce the temps.... Didn't actually wanted to go that way, really preferred something passive that will help but I'm starting to understand there isn't such thing, and if i want to enjoy the car with this kit i must do it...

Any photos from your car? The meth install?

And do you have pictures or something to explain how you tapped the map sprintex plate?
