Oil pressure

Any M or N engine should make it to 200k easily. The bearing problems is mostly S54/S85/S65 engines. My M54 had 190k when I sold it. I had 2 N54s with over 100k, an N52 with 90k, and my current N55 that’s hitting 100k soon. Not worried in the slightest, and my miles are low compared to some local club members. I am way more worried about everything around the engine breaking than the engine itself. |

That should also be of grave concern.

Haha... I use Mobile 1. It's the official NASCAR oil so it must be good.

Meh... I'll keep following my instincts. It lasts way longer now that I'm not cooking it.

Well, my bumper sorta fell of (quick release nut vanished) so i took my bumper off completely to work on it this weekend. Drove to work today, oil temps stayed at 170-175 the entire time..

Those temps were ambient without the car running, he's just trying to make you feel good

Now the hard part is figuring out how to restore flow that was lost with replacement of the bumper with a crash bar. Panel above and to each side of the bumper (beam) are deliberately designed to channel that flow.

Not the cover/fascia, the beam. It was replaced by a crash bar, right?
