Well, looks like im joining JDL turbo club ! Found a local seller on a base kit GT28r, nothing crazy. But i plan on upgrading Fuel injectors and Fuel Pump(he was running stock), a Rad/Shroud Combo, and i will replace all fittings and lines.


Gonna go on the 2020 BRZ once i hit 5k miles

Zach is pretty darn quick. Sometimes multiple revisions with 24 hours.

72 business hours max, unless there is notice (e.g. Zach going on vacation). You can pay for expedited service if you truly need something faster.

how long will he be gone ? I haven't hit 1000 miles on the brz and plan to put on the turbo kit around end of the month or so

Any one here retread a turbo? My Gt28r hot side (2 of the 4 bolts for Downpipe) are 2-3 turns cross thread, should I try to find a replacement side or retread them & move on

Might be worth it to install a helicoil. Can you post a pic so we know exactly which bolt it is?

The exhaust turbine side.. ill get a picture tomorrow or this weekend

these are the bolts.. but ended up getting a new turbo as well from JDL since im AZ local.

has anyone had trouble mounting the UEL manifold ?i had to take a break from it, struggling on it with frustration.

for purpose, i measured my 1320 UEL header outside flange bolt to bolt(driver to passenger) it measured 23 1/8


the JDL UEL manifold measured 22 3/4 -_-


now i see why it dont fit
