now, @ Pure Automotive, you need to put a swap parts list together and make it so the public can have access to this wonderful swap.

There is already a parts list around there. Additionally, the only thing that is relatively "drop in" for a swap part is the Xcessive Mounts. Everything else is completely custom.

That's what I mean Slicktop, the custom parts can be made as pre-fab parts for a swap kit.

It will be difficult to make a "plug and play" pre-fab kit that meets everyone's needs because there are way too many variables.
  • Engine --> Non-VVTI or VVTI
  • Transmission mount --> V160/V161, TH400, Built auto, T56, R154, W58, 350Z/370Z 6sp
  • Driveshaft --> depends on the transmission and rear end
  • Turbo manifold --> Twin scroll, regular T4 manifold, stock mani/twins
  • Turbo size --> Different size and shape downpipes
  • Fuel --> Return-style, what size injectors, and rails
  • ECU --> Motec, Haltech, ProEFI, MegaSquirt, AEM Infinity, AEM V2, ECU, Master, Old school HKS F-CON VPRO...
  • Harness --> Depends which factory features will be retained, regardless, the harness will be custom.
  • Ignition --> New OEM Coils+DLI, LS/LQ9 coilpacks, M&W+CDI, MSD, Motorcycle coilpacks
  • Intake manifold --> stock, aftermarket (certain manifolds do not work with the oem brake booster)
  • Intercooler --> Again depends on the turbo location and intake manifold/TB position and what size core is needed.
The main questions... how much power and what style of racing?

ok ok you got me lol. But just guessing for a specific swap for a 2j non vvti, with the auto. And the only custom parts I was mainly referring too was the actual braces and mounts. The other things can come later I suppose. But just to generalize the whole swap. Nevertheless its still a rough job and long one. Good points though guys.
