I'll also look into the CX1. Just to confirm, do you mean the C1? I don't see a CX1 on the CSG page.

(Hint to CSG-Update your website so people don't miss out on many of the products you carry...there's been times I was about to order from somewhere else only to find out you either carry or can order what I was looking for!)

And I didn't say all their sporty cars, I am aware of the GR Yaris, but Japanese manufacturers have always had a tendency to keep some of their best cars for the JDM market.

I thought that they would bring it, but let's wait to see. Too much uncertainty currently..

It would be cool if they did, but even if they had said they were planning on it, this pandemic thing is upsetting the entire auto industry so yeah, we are entering uncharted waters here. Sad, I know a lot of people in this industry are going to be hurting because of it.

I have a 13' FRS and an AP2 S2000. FRS has UEL headers and stage 2 tune with wider wheels and Michelin super sport tires, S2000 is completely stock.
Driving them back to back, here are my personal feelings about the 2 cars: Why I like FRS: - For some reason FRS feels it has more torque(although the torque number on paper is similar between the 2 cars). - Steering feedback feels better on FRS. - FRS is more practical for daily. - FRS feels more planted and has more grip(could be due to tires) and more confidence inspiring in corners. - I like the way in FRS you feel you sit down lower and the driver is more "integrated" into the car, like the car wraps around you like a power armor from Fallout. It feels more purposeful during spirited driving on winding roads. - cheaper so I feel safer modifying and tinkering with it Why I like S2000: - looks more exotic(to me). the low front fenders is unlike most cars on the road - more visceral feeling in the upper revs. - Engine is smoother and sounds more exotic. - keeps you more alert and on edge. - better interior and build quality - my dream car in high school. - Appreciates in value. FRS depreciates in value - Gets way more looks and thumbs-up on the road. in FRS I only get waves from other FRS/86/BRZ drivers. With S2000 I get waves from even Semi trucks and minivans They are both great cars. Though I find myself driving FRS 95% of the time. Last edited by bigfatcat; 06-23-2020 at 07:13 PM. |

I think the S2000 engine is smoother, only because you have a UEL on the BRZ. Try deleting your airbox cover on the S2000; it will transform your driving experience. |

On FRS I installed the UEL and Catback at the same time. It did seem less smooth than before but I attributed it adding catback amplifying any original roughness in the engine. At higher RPMs the rumble from exhaust drowns out the roughness so it doesn't bother me much |
