surprised the two of you havent stumbled upon @WORKS axleback as they are regional to yall. best of all its one of the least expensive units on market. and dont equate least expensive with cheap, its a quality unit.

I ran the WORKS muffler delete for a while. Great tone. Some drone. My problem with the WORKS exhaust is that when paired with UEL headers it sounds like there is an exhaust leak when there isnt. Just inherent with the setup. I'm running a Nameless Axelback 3" piping to 5" muffler and i love it. Loud but not obnoxious.
Also the thing about failing smog because of a muffler delete is wrong. Cops might write you up a decible ticket for a muffler delete but you go to ANY smog station and your car will pass smog even with a muffler delete. As long as your two Catalytic converters are in place and working, it will pass smog. A muffler has no effect on emissions testing. I know this because my old Eclipse GST was a straight pipe (with stock cats in) and it passed emissions no problem.

5" sounds absolutely perfect. And I think it sounds best when all else is stock. Adding a front pipe or whatever else just does a little too much IMO.

I just made a video of my Nameless Axleback...it's the 5" muffler. I like the sound but honestly I don't want it any louder. |

Hey guys, just installed a nameless axleback (5 inch mufflers 3 inch inlet) with a gruppe-s header. Sounds amazing to me, definitely a great axleback
