Did the clutch pedal adjustment from this thread today. I found this video to be super helpful:
In that thread the OP suggests setting the clutch pedal slightly lower than the brake pedal. I prefer the feel with the clutch pedal just slightly higher than the brake pedal. With the Mtec clutch spring, ATE Type 200 fluid, and the adjustment mod, I am actually pretty happy with the feel of the clutch now. Last edited by Mike_ZN6; 01-25-2022 at 07:41 PM. |

Those pics are actually from right after I first installed the coilovers and it was a bit lower than I really wanted it. It is sitting at 25 1/4" ground to fender now, which is about exactly a 1.5" drop from stock. Last edited by Mike_ZN6; 04-24-2020 at 01:15 AM. |

Theyre my #1 coilover choice. Let me know what you think of them. The price jumped a few months ago, kinda looking for a nice mildly used set.

I like them. These are the first coilovers I have ever had, so I don't have a whole lot to compare them against but they seem pretty good. On the recommended street settings they do not feel much stiffer than stock, but I definitely have less body roll. I have not been able to test them for Auto-X this year because everything has been cancelled.
I will say that Racecomp provides amazing customer support, way beyond what you would expect. Last edited by Mike_ZN6; 04-24-2020 at 04:12 PM. |

I ran up to PTuning today and took some pics to compare the new Rays color Blast Bronze against OG Bronze. Blast Bronze is supposed to be the closest color you can get to OG Bronze. OG Bronze is an anodized finish and has been discontinued. Rays does offer a Bronze color on the TE37 Saga (and maybe a few others) but I am not sure if it is the same as OG Bronze.
As you can see, the OG Bronze is much lighter and has a "rougher" finish. The SL are more concave. What do you guys think? Full album: https://imgur.com/a/DWOWYNl Last edited by Mike_ZN6; 04-25-2020 at 07:34 PM. |

Good choice on the TEs. #TE37theworld
The Blast Bronze is good. Nothing will ever beat RAYS OG Bronze though. Such a shame RAYS stopped making those wheels. Let's start a petition lol

Yeah, I always wanted a set of OG Bronze TE37s but you just can't get them for a while now. Seeing them side by side I'm not sure how I feel about the Blast Bronze. |

But either way, black on bronze is a killer combo.

My car had the rear deck rattle that many people seem to have. It was very loud, not something you could ignore. I fixed it by bending a metal tab towards the front of the car as directed in this thread here.

I like that bronze blast color a lot. It looks a lot more modern than the OG color and should match modern paint colors better. I've been "te37everything" since the late 90s and seen the colors change over the years. I have a few sets and none are the same. I feel like they do this to better match the target vehicle colors at the time (gotta look good in the advertisements). I think the bronze blast will be a good match for the D4S paint. I do prefer the texture of the OG style though. I have a D4S 86 also with the last set of OG bronze TE's from a System Motorsports custom order. I am glad I got them when I did. They are concave like the bronze blast wheel, not flat like the OG wheel shown in the pic. You know, looking at your build plans, I have similar parts. I even have the same black L32 lugs as in your plan. Lol. We must have similar taste. I guess I can tell you with 100% certainty your car is going to look great, but I am still looking forward to seeing to progress.
