Lexus RC-F
Saw one of these yesterday morning coming off 401 @ Dixie south
Man they are nice! I thought it would be a lot bigger though... it looked almost the same size as our twins. Are they built on the same platform? For a moment I contemplated switched my Toyota bades to the Lexus L and slap some F markers on the back :P |

They are a lot bigger than the FRS.
A guy at my golf club has one and I was a little surprised at how big it was in person. |

I wouldn't mind, per se, but if I were getting a 4000LB car, I'd rather get one with 4 doors, something like the CTS V-Sport.

I wouldn't recommend a Porsche to anybody, except somebody looking at an RC-F. I think the RC-F would have to be starting in the high 50's to consider it or 900-1000lb lighter, or have an engine with the spirit of the LFA engine (aka high and fast revving). So sad. In fact, for RC-F money I'd take a Jag f-type.
Since I have neither the money nor the inclination, I'll be happy with my BRZ and fantasize about horsepower and luxury. |

I sat in one at the Autoshow, it's unbelievably huge. Feels like sitting in a truck. A BRZ feels just right when you sit in it.
I think the RC-F chassis is a frankenstein of IS and GS, pretty sure not the same guys that made the Twins. The Twins chassis is based on a highly modified Impreza chassis. I see these a lot around Scarborough, usually in white or blue or orange. IMO the Twins is designed a lot better from a handling pov than any F product from Lexus, I wouldn't ruin it with the L and F badges lol! |

seen lots of these in RH and Markham area. They are seriously huge...Maybe you thought it was smaller because a)it was far away b)it was surrounded by other cars of its size. I find that rc is kinda like the 4 series. they dont look too big until you get closer or there are other cars nearby.
