Not OP, but I installed the full RacerX oil cooler package with a setrab 619 and the crash bar mount back in March 2016. Car has seen 36k miles and 40ish track days since that point, and the kit is holding strong. Sandwich plate, adapter, tstat, etc. All still good.

Edit: here is what the normal RacerX mounting solution looks like.

Great setup

I was wondering how you tied the gutter cover / expanded metal to the bumper ?

I also heard about overcooling the oil with that type of oil cooler, did you encounter that problem ? I heard about people putting a plexiglass piece in front of the core.

It's possible if you live in a colder climate and take lots of short trips. Last year I just zip-tied some cardboard in front of the oil rad, which raised my temps back to normal. I didn't bother doing that this winter, and everything was still fine.

Thank you, Grady

Thanks for the tip! Since that installation, it developed a leak and I broke the nipple! So I plugged it. Recently, reinstalled, but with brass and gas/oil rated teflon tape. I'll keep a close eye on it, for now!
