Read first post, it has all the answers for you.

side note: Would it matter if I used the 8AN outlet instead of the ones listed?
Have had zero issues, after 8 months and winter. And almost another 2 years before than in another car.

Its nice to see people getting creative with mounting.
I contacted Radium to see if they will work with me to make a factory mount and a kit for NA and Forced Induction.

Should have clarification on technical side of the change in condenser media as well.

Here's my mount design. Looks like @Vracer111 and I were thinking much along the same lines. This is extremely solid and has a very clean look.

I'm including all the measurements. Mine was done on a mill, but if you're handy with a drillpress it could easily be done that way.

The holes that the Radium bracket mounts to are tapped for 1/4" 20 screws, but they could be drilled the same size as the other holes and nuts could be used.

Parts:
-1/8" Aluminum Plate (cut to 2.5" x 4.5")
-7/8" Vibration Damping U-Bolts (McMaster Carr PN: 3176T45 http://www.mcmaster.com/#u-bolts/=m6ivb8) x2
-1/4" 20 x 1/2" Screws x3
-1/4" Lock Washers x3

I suggest getting the right angle outlet for the catch can. I used the straight outlet and had to angle the the can very slightly so the hose could clear the top of the battery. I'll probably switch at some point but it works for now.

Hah that's funny I redid mine and I think used the same vibration damping u bolts from McMaster-Carr... I used a piece of 1/8 CF stuff I had laying around as the mounting plate. I drilled an extra set of holes in the radium bracket so there are six of them.

I was surprised after about 500 street miles and a couple autocrosses how much oil was in there.

Really impressed guys with you fab work way better than mine. Just a heads up, and dont take this as gospel but Radium confirmed they will have a kit for our car and probably more stuff. I dont know timelines but I will be working on a forced induction radium dual can setup this month with DIY as well.

Will work with Radium too see if they can help with a bracket. They are watching this thread so keep the designs coming.

This is definitely a good idea for engine damage prevention or preservation from engine damage. I'm just truly sad that this is 200 bucks a pop for a can. I'm too poor for this stuff hehe.

So how much oil have people actually been catching in these or any other cans? Please include driving habits/distance too.

Dang! Oh well. I just received my 2nd can. Just need time to fan up a new bracket (my steel one is starting to oxidize)

I will take a picture when I leave work later and add it to this post, but like I said I was surprised how much I actually caught.

This is after about 1200 miles and a couple of autocrosses. In the grand scheme of things it's not very much, but it's something. I check it fairly often because it's mounted right above the exhaust. If the contents dripped out of the catch can onto a hot exhaust it would catch on fire.

After 2 track days and long road trip, bone stock very hard driving.
3000 miles:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...4&postcount=44

You can tell most of it is unspent fuel but there is also plenty of oil in there.
Since I will be almost duplicating F1Point's setup and GMhooker's SC plan I am certain the breather tube will also be blowing some of this through the intake as well. I don't want this coating the intercooler.

Well it does help a lot when you can use CAD and have access to a full machine shop.

CNC mill, set up the part and hit start.
