But despite my recent posts I was quite disappointed with John Wick 4 which I've just finished watching.
It was a collection of action scenes looking for a plot.

We got her a studio apartment in an assisted living facility. Very nice. I did not know that at $10,500 a month they supply nothing as far as furniture and stuff, so my older brother(from Arizona) and I busted our assets moving furniture and stuff and getting her room ready before the hospital transported her to the home. Unfortunately my younger brother broke his arm 4 days ago, so he couldn't help.

She is getting hospice care now, along with the facility care. She is skin and bones. She is not ambulatory at this time. One doctor said at her current rate of calorie intake, his guess was 2 weeks.

I think this is the most mentally and physically drained and stressed I've ever been in my life.

Thanks for asking.

hang in there, but, just gotta remember, as long as it's her choice, it's still her choice...

been in parts of that when 2 of my grandparents were diagnosed with cancer at 75+. first one lived for another 2 years. 2 years of every month "this is it! everyone quick! come by and say your goodbyes!" 2 years of watching her getting more crass and abrupt with my grandfather, who drove her to every doctor, chemo, and dialysis appointment. 2 years of watching my grandfather age about 10 years putting up with it.

the other grandparent got diagnosed, started chemo, realized how energy-draining it is, stopped, and passed away within a few weeks...

it's on my list to buy/watch, mostly because i already have the first couple.

i feel like it was a surprise hit. they did the first one, then said "aw crap, we gotta come up with more?"

3 even felt a little extended. very fast and furious like. they have the core plot, but with every new movie, you can literally see the screen writers behind the script shouting at each other "OK, AND THEN WHAT IF WE _______"

Yes, I know. If it were up to my brothers my mom would have been in a home years ago. I was the one always reminding them that we hate that mom wouldn't except help for years, but is still there upstairs. She has the right to make her own decisions, even if we think they are bad decisions.

I am her medical POA, and her wishes are DNR, do nothing. I pray she just goes to sleep one night, watching her tv, in no pain, and forgets to wake up. if she goes back to the hospital, is unconscious, or is at a point she cannot make her own decisions, I'm the one that is going to have to say no help, let her die. That will suck, but that is her wishes and that is exactly what I'll do.

OK, how about plan B - don't limit yourself to Cupertino, look south to around Morgan Hill - pick up on one of those cute country girls -

If it takes the hard road, just remember it's not your decision. It's hers. It's hard, no question. Hopefully your family will be there with support and good memories.

she screams $500/mo hair products, $90 mixed drinks, and one good weekend before she dumps you for an aspiring MMA fighter turned childrens author.

So, what I'm hearing is she looks like someone who models for stock photos lol

Well, OK, spike021, if she is too rich for your blood, look a bit further South around Gilroy. Note, the Gilroy Garlic Festival will draw them in from the hills -
