Overall good news though, as it all but confirms that I'll be able to get a Circuit. Still, would be super great if, oh I dunno, I could specify which color I want instead of being told to be happy with what they decide to give (offer to sell) me

You don't see Porsche, Ferrari, or anyone else pulling that level of BS...
i'm mostly sour over the whole limited-edition run.

if it was more of a typical production vehicle, i think the demand would be smoother, and the production issues wouldn't be so hard.

The all-wheel drive system quickly helped bring everything back into shape each time this happened, but we couldn't really detect the differences between the torque split modes regardless of the driving circumstance. Our hunch is that the differences in behavior between Normal, Sport, and Track are much easier to discern when you're able to push well beyond the limits of grip out on a track or an autocross course.
Honestly I'm surprised they felt this way. It wasn't exactly a night and day difference when I drove a GRC, but even on public roads, and not too aggressively (first drive was on a GRC that hadn't been broken in yet) I could tell a difference between torque splits.

They should see the clearance between the performance pack wheels and brembos calipers. It was basically millimeters.

18 inch 2-piece Works will only have 2mm clearance between the brakes and the barrel, so they advised me to go up to 19s. Didn't want to get 19s, so I stuck with their 1-piece line.

Agreed. Would be great if these a holes used Cores! Instead of models that are even more impossible to get ahold of.
