Much appreciated! I’ll give DEQ a try again tomorrow after another 50 or so miles

My CEL for P0420 just came on as I was driving home from work this morning going through drive cycle to get all systems ready. Would I fail just because of this fault code whereas all other systems should be ready? Or do I have to clear the codes again, drive a proper drive cycle then get DEQ tested before the P0420 CEL gets thrown for being catless? I’m so confused here if I can pass or not since I believe I drove enough for all systems ready yet the timing perfectly triggers CEL for P0420

That is correct, CEL / set codes means no emissions pass.

The info from Oregon (https://www.oregon.gov/deq/filterdocs/driversguide.pdf) indicates that you can have one readiness monitor not set and still pass, so if you're able to time it right where your catalyst is the only monitor not ready / code not set you'd be able to pass.

I think you'll either have to put on the stock header or adjust the OFT tune to turn off the EVAP disabling. You can get away with a single unready code but not two, I've ran through our DEQ a few times with a tune and it's no problem.

if you just want to pass emmissions try just disabling P0420 on a stock tune

That’s why my first try is to go back on stock tune, run my drive cycle until complete and hope the CEL doesn’t go on, then get it tested. By then, all systems besides the primary cat should be okay and ready. I’m waiting for an O2 spacer to arrive to see if my theory checks out. If not, I will need a revised 17’ tune with EVAP system enabled so I only have cat unready flagged. Steve99 reached out to me and am trying to sort this out in the coming week. Thank you all for the help!
