Can I recant and say yes I would buy one again if (like some others said) the turbo thing happens. Yes defintely I'd buy another then. Or if I had the garage space and like someone said before could find a project FRS/BRZ. The garage space and all the tools

It's going to be a no for me. I've just had so many issues with this car here lately. From having to replace a clutch at less than 50k miles to having my windows squeak constantly ("Fixed" at dealership 3 different times), the fuel pump crickets, and my headlights keep burning through lights (4 sets since I've bought the car). I guess everyone gets a lemon once in their life.

I've never purchased the same car twice. Plenty of nice cars out there. Just because I plan to move on does not mean I don't like the 86. My bucket list is large and I need to keep experiencing different and interesting cars.

I'd buy this car again if my commute is unchanged (roughly 110 miles per work day). This car is a great balance of fun and practicality for me, since my wife will always drive an SUV or cross-over I don't need a car with "room".

If and when my commute is reduced significantly, I will probably get a Porsche Cayman or 911.

This ^^ is exactly my statement as well. With the exception of my probable list includes a Type F as well as the Cayman or 911. It will be one of those 3 that I retire in.

Yups, I'd buy one again but it would be a Monogram series. I actually wanted the Monogram series but $@!#@ Honolulu only had 8 of them and it sold out as fast as you can blink your eye.

Frs is cheaper to buy, maintain and on insurance. It would be 75% of the WRX but cheaper in every way.

I believe I am reading the question out of context so I'll provide two responses to avoid any confusion.

If you are asking whether or not I will buy a completely new twin in the future then the answer would be no. The main reason being I already have one that has been modified to suit my own tastes and preferences. The only thing that would change this is if the car were to have a second generation release in the future. Third if you want to argue that this is the second coming of the AE86.

If you are asking whether or not I would have still bought the car 2 years ago with all the knowledge and experience with the vehicle that I do today then the answer still would have been yes. Matter of fact, I probably would've wanted the car more!

I would not buy again. This car has been way too much fun. Nobody should have this much fun driving, especially for the price. It isn't fair to the people who have to drive boring vehicles. The government should regulate the car industry more strictly to level the playing field and to ensure that everyone has a Camry.

I will now send off my Obamacare payment and write a $25 check to Bernie Sanders.

Yeah, but most of them preceded the statement that they would buy again with the word "Derrrrr." I don't really give what Mustang drivers say a lot of weight. I feel sorry for the actual knowledgeable car guys who buy classic Mustangs, because all the derpy fools on the road with shitty Flowmaster Mustangs really give them a bad rap.
