Hello ft86clubers, a buddy of mine told me about these forums, and since I'm interested in possibly buying a FR-S/BRZ, he told me to sign up!!!

My name is Dave, and I currently own a Java Black Pearl STi. I love it, but the FR-S & BRZ's calls out to me. Hopefully, I'll pick one up as my second car

Now, even though this is my first post, I just wanna share that I've been recently presented with a rare opportunity. I entered a local contest to drive a FR-S for a week. And I ended up being a finalist!!! I'm currently in first place in votes, but not by much.....

HI is cool, but man i think you're gonna run out of roads to drive on.. .this car is so much fun i find myself just going and going for days... that island would be a slight bummer for this real fun car..... but hey, youre gonna love it ! b

@ rikdrt1 - There's a great road here on Oahu called "Round Top Drive / Tantlus". If you google map it, its about 10 miles of pure mountain touge heaven! If i win this contest, I'm gonna take it up there, and see how great the handling is....

Really?! Damn.... I just tried out the link, seems to be working. If your using your cell phone, don't use your Facebook app, use your phones internet browser instead to login to FB and vote. Some of my buddies are saying that it works that way...

what's up man? I was on Oahu for three years, loved (almost) every minute of it. Since you currently have an STi, are you apart of i-Club? I had a white 2010 hatchback STi for a while when I was out there. Had a black EVO X too. You'll love the car man, it's awesome!

Yep, I still have my STi. I'm planning to keep it and perhaps buy a BRZ as a second car from shaggy @ Servco. If I end up falling in love with the FR-S handling, I might consider selling the STi....Will see, will see.

I'm an old timer with HIIC (i-club Hawaii), I go under the same screen name there "Haole-Pino". I might have met you cuz I attend alot of the Friday Night Meets w/Josh and the gang....
