So.....given that we always are reminding people to and a lot of technical threads are now 8 years old, I'm not sure I understand why everyone complains when an old thread is raised from the dead. Isn't that better than starting a new one?

100% agree if the thread is resurrected for some purpose such as new info, a question or even just for fun if that was the theme to start with.


To resurrect an eight year old thread for the sole purpose of resuming an argument with a person that has not been here for 5 years is just moronic.

I always look for threads started before I start my own.. This was the case with my Covid-19 thread, searched high and low but just couldn't find one..
