It was taken out. It was causing the gas gauge to drop drastically when the gas wasn't really burning that fast. No way to burn half a tank in 15 minutes lol. But the AFR map I had no problems with. Really wish we still had the AFR reading on the dash but maybe it will come back eventually.

What makes this part beneficial to a tune? I seem to recall you being a proponent of the stock intake as far as performance(hp), just a new kid curious what other impacts it would be having.

Thanks.

Hmmm maybe has something to do with that voltage divider circuit you showed a while back.

If I remember correctly Visconti pretty much said if you must buy an intake, the Perrin is the one to get. But he also says the intakes are all just hype.

So...buy an intake if you just want to throw around money, if not John can make your stock airbox perform as good or better than the intakes that are available. And in my opinion: Stock airbox plus tune will make the car sound meaner than any intake without a tune

I hate you. I can't get better then 91 octane, and that's oxygenated about half the year. I'm gonna go cry now.

No where did I say buy a intake you'll make more power.

All I said was the Perrin CAI was a nice unit and tuned nicely.

Tune is the way to go.

I think the e85 ethanol content is getting closer to e80-85 because I can notice much more torque in every gear. 6th gear at 70 mph will get up to 100 easy now. I dont even have to downshift into 5th to move anymore. Loving this tune John!
Awesome glad to here !!
