But I'm also assuming the amount of CO2 spray output by the nozzle is calibrated for water's density and stuff, not other liquids.
When I made beer (and other things) I carbonated my kegs with a 30lb CO tank. I used Cornelius 5 gallon kegs. I carbonated water, soda, beer, and wine. Just hook it up at about 30 psi and let it sit for a few weeks. How different can sodaStream be? lol.

Now, come up with a plan for yourself in your situation.

My plan is to stop putting in the extra hours. If I get behind then so be it, they need to delegate the duties to someone else.

I actually don't have subordinates that work under me anymore. If they need something I force them to deal with their department manager or supervisor and if it requires a request from me it can come that way. Otherwise I think it covolutes the chain of responsibility too much. We have some guys in new to them supervisor positions that really need to step up and take hold of their new role.

The real issue is I have been forced to carry specialized tasks with me through my career here to my new position instead of leaving them with whoever took over my last spot. My job now has become a catch all, kind of like that shelf you put in your garage to organize things but you just end up piling stuff on. That and I took over purchasing when that guy quit in October and he left a mess.

That is the most interesting and least boring shelf in the house. It isn't just a bunch of towels, old books or pots and pans but a little bit of everything all mixed up.
I purposely made my job a junk shelf. It beats hell out of looking at a pile of towels all day, every day.

Change blindness
"Change blindness is a perceptual phenomenon that occurs when a change in a visual stimulus is introduced and the observer does not notice it. For example, observers often fail to notice major differences introduced into an image while it flickers off and on again.[1] People's poor ability to detect changes has been argued to reflect fundamental limitations of human attention. Change blindness has become a highly researched topic and some have argued that it may have important practical implications in areas such as eyewitness testimony and distractions while driving."
Wiki

The Invisible Gorilla
"The Invisible Gorilla is a book published in 2010, co-authored by Christopher Chabris and Daniel Simons. This title of this book refers to an earlier research project by Chabris and Simons revealing that people who are focused on one thing can easily overlook something else. To demonstrate this effect they created a video where students pass a basketball between themselves. Viewers asked to count the number of times the players with the white shirts pass the ball often fail to notice a person in a gorilla suit who appears in the center of the image (see Invisible Gorilla test), an experiment described as "one of the most famous psychological demos ever".

earlier this week, the weathermen instituted a winter storm warning for today. 2-19" of snow. like they all but gave up predicting the weather. i think we've got somewhere around 5". hard to tell, it's gusting pretty bad. but snow is snow. all the idiots can't drive, and i become the idiot trying to drive faster.

the road our shop is on connects to the main road with a 'Y' shaped 3-way stop, and i turn across the tightest part to get home.

snow, 4x4, and my childish mindset-- most people that know me know where combining those things lead to.. i went through intersection bouncing off the rev limiter, sideways. and then noticed i passed the bosses wife going the other way...

i think i'm getting some words from my boss tomorrow.

My old roommate made his own sodastream with about $20 worth of parts, and we just did cylinder exchanges at our local U-brew. It carbonated way better than a sodastream ever could.

This guy has done a bunch of videos on carbonating non-water stuff with a sodastream... some interesting results:

I can definitely say do NOT try to carbonate anything dairy based... an experiment with chocolate milk had very disgusting results lol.

Honestly at least for basic carbonating I've been really satisfied with how easy it is to use. Of course I want to experiment but heh.

life is more like a school bus is spinning the tires while you sit in the back seat spectating. with that one incompetent driver that is has no idea how log or wide the school bus is and uses the edge of the road as a reminder. and then a snow drift sucks the bus down into the ditch. then the driver turns to everyone and says "i'm so sorry guy's! i have no idea how that happened!"
