Agreed. Always had a thing for a TR3 on wire wheels. Maybe someday.

You couldn't build that car for for that money, I think all three parties won here, most people wouldn't have guessed a >$30k sale price for a forced induction twin. But buy a nice condition '15-'16 BRZ with low miles, that's ~$20k, Crawford charged the prior owner >$20k to turbo that car, the KW V3's, transmission swap, wheels, brakes, driveshaft, etc. are easily hitting another $10k to install and setup those parts. That car would cost most people around $50k to build with that parts list, more if you start with a brand new car.
The last FI twin on BaT went for around $20k iirc, most are listed around there on the forums, less if the car is mostly stock, more with mods but buyers are scarce. Congrats to the seller and buyer are in order I think. Would I want the car? Probably not, but still I think it's a good thing you had three people walking away happy. proving once again BaT is more of an exception then a rule. which is what makes it so hard to judge what price it will go for there. regardless, someone got a clean reliable build for a fair price compared to self-building, and the OP didn't have to explore other sales routes.

Surprised it went that high! But good for the OP/Seller. It looks to be a really clean build.
