Can any of you guys with a stock 2017 log the tune with oft or ecutek or even torque app or some other obd logger just interested to see a third gear full throttle run to redline
if you could log

afr, commanded afr, ignition advance, llong term fuel trim, rpm , load, throttle

if you have better logging like oft or ecutek then add iam, flkc and fbkc knock parameters

toyyota techstream should work as well

jist want to see what general afr and timing its runnong and compare it to tables instock tune needs to be new K00C ro D rom

thanks

I will getting some in the next day or two, Shiv asked for the same thing but on the beta ROM he sent.

Also, planning to go to the dyno for baseline runs on Saturday if I have time...(HPDE weekend in BMW).

I took 4 pulls tonight in 3rd gear and logged them. See attached, you will need to rename them to .csv files since uploader does not recognize them. Logs 3 and 4 probably have the best info.

Thanks

any chance you can log Commanded AFR if that available ?

looks like maf v IAM not working so maybe leave one of those out.

could you maybe try logging Fuel system Status ( ie closed loop open loop) , instead of Boost.

Yep looks like it runs quite lean.

other interesting thing is STFT is not 0 as you would expect if it was running on Open loop, maybe it runs closed loop all the time ?????

Thanks some things starting to make sense , possibly :-)

The min open loop value has been raised from 14.0 to 14.4 so in theory it would hold closed loop less, however you can see that the open loop fuel maps are all above 14.4 at lower RPM. Definitely a change in fueling strategy, however a change to full time closed loop would suggest a complete change in the ROM operation and I would expect that a much more accurate and reliable O2 sensor would be required. Other cars that run full time closed loop tend to run true WBO2s I believe, like the GT-R/370Z etc.

haha was always listening mate

I can believe 12.5 or so but 13.4 was a bit suspect on. I think that due to being a tailpipe sensor after 2 cats ?

I run about 12.2-12.4 petrol and E85.

You would think with stft being active its not in open loop, if we can believe monitoring.

Or its using a completely differnt fuel strategy, that seems to not use the discovered OL fuel tables, hard to comprehend why you would be 25-30% off target AFR. Maybe those tables now only used in fallback/failsafe mode who knows.

The AFR does seem to be remarkably stable though
and if logging can be believed stft active all the time

be interesting to see ecutek logging.

I switched Cmd AFR on instead of boost. I just turned on what Shiv asked for, the first 14 variables in the OFT.

Might get some more logs this weekend, I am also gathering for Shiv as I flashed his Stg1 Beta map this morning.

I'm curious to see what the cam timing looks like on the '17. Does it log correctly on the OFT?

Umm, I would have to check, I am not sure.

Tunes are still in beta stage as far as I know, I haven't heard from Shiv since SEMA time frame.

I have been running one of his beta tunes for ~800 miles or so, no problems and good improvement over stock. Ran the car in an autocross a couple weeks ago with the tune as well.

Hey,

Is your tune still running good? I just got stage 1 beta tunes from Shiv and may flash over the weekend. Also have OFH but may install that later.
