Also, if I'm feeling crazy, twin chargering the car would only take plug and play turbo kit with custom intake piping, instead of trying to finagle a turbo next to a centri.

And I chose Edelbrock over Cosworth or Innovate because of pricing (I got a good deal for it), power potential of the Eaton 1320 TVS unit, looks, and low noise for stock-like operation.
thats interesting, i still don't know if i want to turbo or sc route, im leaning more towards a turbo kit but we'll see when the time comes.

Hey man, everyone has their own preference. I wanted to stay true to the great balance and predictability of the FRS platform, while just adding some more power. I'm not so much of a 'fast in a straight line' kind of guy.

Good luck! Hope to see you around.

Omaha here. It's 2020. Curious is there's anyone in here who still owns this platform.

There weren't any 86 meets this year and last year we only had a couple guys show up regularly. There are larger car meets though. Won't be any more this year though cuz of the cold. Look for the Facebook groups.

Some of us are still hiding in hibernation and spend their time at the track.

I’m in the main FT86 Enthusiast FB Group and other ones. Is there an FT86 Group mainly for Nebraska/Iowa or the Midwest?

I doubt that there's any BRZ/86 specialists here locally. But are there any shops in Nebraska that you guys recommend going to for basic maintenance or turbo/supercharger installation?
