The more I look at this car, the more I think it looks like a badly rendered 3D print of what could have been.

For a cheap laugh, watch the second video with the female interviewer with Google's automatic translation turned on for closed captioning. Hilarious!

They will need to add side markers front and rear.

They will likely not include two piece rotors or those massive calipers at all, or at least not on the standard trim.

The carbon fiber front lip, side skirts and rear diffuser will likely not be on the standard trim or at all, so expect plastic.

Those exhaust tips are also suspect for getting changed, but could be there.

The headlights and taillights look finalized, as well as, the body shape. I'm sure there will be minor tweaks, but very little.

eh don't think they would they need to add any of that except maybe rear side marker due to taillight design. 350z/370z for the most part got away without extra ducts, vents, fog lights, side markers, etc.. and they both had rather square grills especially on the 350z yet some folks are appalled at this new square grill lol.. think nothing needs to change, overall still looks good to me.

You're right. The Z doesn't come with fog lights. The DRLs are built into the 400Z's headlights, so they might not need anything in the bumper. For the markers, I didn't see them in the headlights. We will have to see if they add them.

Two things I want to see, only on of which is likely.

1) I’d like to see the side mirrors be mounted on the side of the door (like the 86) instead of in the corner of the A pillar, to reduce the A pillar blind spot. I have a 370Z and that mirror mounting enlarges that blind spot unnecessarily. Probably stuck with it though.

2) I want to see body coloured roof versions in other colours. Hopefully the black roof is just an option, not standard. I think a body coloured roof will show off the lines better. This is at least likely to happen, compared to the side mirror mounts changing.

I still think price will prove be the success or failure of this new Z. If it offers Supra-like oerformance for 2/3 the price, it will be a winner. If it costs the same more or less as a Supra, I think it may struggle, since the Supra will likely just pip it in overall dynamics and real world performance due to being a much newer chassis.

I doubt we will even see the 304HP version in Australia. Makes no sense at those prices. We will probably only see the 405HP and the Nismo, but it looks like the base 405HP will be Supra priced unfortunately.

Ya i'm sure they will add the yellow strip in the headlights much like the 370z's, think just common to leave it out for prototypes/concepts for a little cleaner look. But for sure nothing on the 400z looks inconceivable for production, they shouldn't mess with anything
