Stopped by a manufacturing facility in Gurnee on a business trip, saw an FRS in the parking lot and it turns out its the guy we were meeting at the facility

Said he wasn't really on the forums, it was silver and he said it was either a release series or a monogram... not too familiar with the special models but it did have light up emblems

Hey guys first Post,

Bought SWP BRZ about 2 weeks ago , seen a few guys around. I am stock for now, only have tint.

I live in South loop. This morning saw blue brz on 294 going south near Dempster, in the left lane you pointed your finger out to me. Seen a gunmetal BRZ out in Wrigley gave you the thumbs up.

How'd everyone car do in the winter? from the weather reports, and warming on the west coast it seem were gonna have a "mild" winter.

First post / South Loop / stock SWP BRZ over here too!

Last winter was fine on the Primacies except for one of the crazier storms towards the end. I might invest in some Blizzaks and try Road America's winter auto-x.

haha not Craig :P I've seen another SWP parked around State/Archer for a bit now so that might be him.

Keep checking here for the winter auto-x: http://www.roadamerica.com/experienc...autocross.html. This year it was in January, February, and March.

I'd absolutely invest in some Blizzaks for winter. They made a world of difference.

I wanted to try the winter autox at RA, but they could never guarantee snow on the ground and most of the weekends they ran there wasn't much snowfall.

Instead, I went a bit further into Wisconsin and did rallyx on a frozen lake:

I already order a set of Blizzaks to fit a 16 inch wheel , Just more concern on when to install them, last winter wasn't bad, beside maybe 2 storms. I drive about 15 miles highway home and back everyday with a few town roads. Worried that the dry roads will ruin the Blizzaks? How'd it work out for you?

Great pictures look like a a lot of fun

I had a 6 mile commute each way to work, but drove quite a bit over winter including driving up to LaCrosse, WI twice to do rallyx. My Blizzaks still have a ton of tread. You should be just fine.

I'm actually thinking about selling my 215/45/17 WS-80s and picking up a set of 205/55/16 and some steelies for winter.
