The speaker isn’t perfect, but it’s better than unplugged IMO. The intake is just too damn quiet, there is no induction noise. I doubt we’ll get a louder intake for this car that doesn’t lose power, so I’m hoping for an aftermarket solution that lets us customize the speaker. |

Only thing I don't like about the engine sound is that I get a buzz in the passenger side of the dash when revs get up past 4500.
I guess I need to pop open that access panel on the side to see if anything can be dampened in there. |

I have multiple rattles and annoying sounds coming from passenger dash. Not happy about it. I wish these guys testing these cars would stop dwelling 100% on performance and listen to the damn car that people have to live with. |

Clear side markers installed and reinstalled the OEM clutch spring after trialing back-and-forth without and with the MTEC. Seems smoother with the OEM spring, even though I like the feeling without.

I had removed it and replaced it with the MTEC spring. For the past few weeks, I have been driving without the spring all-together. I slotted it back in place with the pin and original rod/swing-arm. Each time I replace the spring, I preload the spring with some zip-ties.

I noticed a rattle on the passenger side too, turns out for me it's the glove compartment. I opened it and left it hanging while driving and it went away. I figure it's not a tight fit so it vibrates. Going to see if I can wedge something between the glove compartment door and the dash to see if that eliminates it. Fingers crossed because I got rid of my last car for the BRZ because of a rattle that i could never find.

I'm also insane with noises, and also sold cars in the past because of rattles that I couldn't find. I'm happy to hear that I'm not the only one! LOL I didn't get my BRZ yet (ordered Jan 6th), but I'm hoping that it doesn't have any rattles that I can't solve. |

Opening the glove box doesn’t affect my rattles. It’s always the passenger side where I can’t reach that drive me insane. |

Installed blind spot mirrors and they're great. Car should have come with them.
These are the ones I got : https://www.amazon.com/SuperFan-Blin...s%2C139&sr=8-6 |

Just a tip, and maybe you already do this, but many people just don't adjust their side view mirrors properly. You should not need the additional stick on mirrors if adjusted properly.. |

Says someone that's never lived with manual mirrors and had to street park, apparently.
I NEED to see the side of the car. It's how I am sure I'm not looking 3 lanes over. When I first got my license, the truck I drove had manual mirrors that always ended up out of adjustment. But by keeping the side of the vehicle in the edge of the mirror, I can guarantee that anytime I check my mirror, it's adjusted properly. And I put stick on mirror on all my cars. It's super swell to not have to do anything more than a cursory glance to clear next to me and 2 lanes over in less than a second.
