Are the fenders on a FRS and 86 interchangeable? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Just bought a 2017 86 at an auction an replacing the passenger fender on my 2017 86 and was wondering if the FRS fenders will fit onto an 86 since there is a junk yard nearby with an FRS. To also add are the quarter panels interchangeable as well?

Differences are surface-level. You're fine. You may end up with mismatch on the fender garnish but that's cheap and easy to change. The paint will not match.

This is also your opportunity to change the bumper to one of the other 2 OEM options if you prefer the BRZ or FR-S look.

All body panels including fenders, hood, trunk lid are interchangeable between First Gen FRS, BRZ and 86. There were zero changes between any of these parts even during the face lift. The only diffrences are the front bumper cover and rear valance below the bumper.
