Because the AP Racing CP8350 was designed as a pure racing caliper, minimizing NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) was not a primary concern in its original applications. However, when enough customers ask for solutions, we get to work.


Custom-made to our specifications from heat-treated stainless steel, our CP8350 Pad Tension Clip applies a small amount of downward pressure on the brake pads, decreasing their vertical movement. While complete silence on a racing brake system isn't very realistic, the clips do significantly quell a large portion of the clicking, rattling, and clunking noises associated with pads moving in the calipers.
