Just like Lemans, huh. Must be an awesome experience. How fast is the driver change/tire change/fueling during pit?

My 2001 BMW 330Ci

Had it for 3 years now, clocking in at 135,000 miles and going strong.
It came with a full Remus catback exhaust, which sounds phenomenal. It also has a Dinan chip which removes the speed limiter, increases the rev limiter and a few other tweaks.
I put a full Raceland coilover suspension on it and it was completely slammed but the ride quality was horrendous except on nice flat roads and for autocrossing.

I just put a brand new stock (sport) suspension on it so its back to normal.

I just replaced the entire cooling system, power steering system, control arms/balljoints, all belts, pulleys, tensioners etc.

Here is me having some fun in the winter, and some other random pics:

My friends all think I'm crazy going from a BMW to a Toyota (well, a Scion I guess), but I just want something lightweight and simple, still RWD, as well as easy to maintain and won't break.

lol yeah but with crap cars More like 24 hours of LeMons except without the stupid theatrics and dumb penalties.

If fuel is required during a stop, it's a 5 minute minimum. We usually fuel and driver change in 6 minutes or so. We try to avoid changing tires and at most races we don't have to unless it's a 24 hour race (other races are 14 hours, or 7 hours, etc). Luckily everyone has to run street tires with treadwear ratings of 200 or higher so we get pretty good life out of the starspecs we use.

LOL Chump has a rule for safety and so amateurs can compete with the guys who also race in ALMS, etc and have full pit teams with them. There are teams that are done well before the 5 minutes are up and will literally just sit there watching the stop watch for the 5 minutes to end. Riley Racing, the NASCAR teams, etc are all like that. We don't have the crew to do all that at once lol

They have equally crappy cars and they do so for fun. ChumpCar is probably the most fun I've ever had racing.. it's competitive but not at the price point/pressure that you have with points based series, etc.
