It sure is! Here's some pics in case anyone is wondering how small...

1st pic compares the stock to TRD to Magnaflow, 2nd pic compares stock to TRD, and 3rd pic is just in case the first two weren't clear enough.

You guys were right. I am either going deaf, getting used to it, or the pipe is quieting down. I'm about 500 miles into it.

My vote is for getting used to it.

Bringing this back bc I just got TRD installed yesterday. Got it used with about 700 miles. It is boomy at low RPM. But sounds great in mid range and gets quiet at higher RPM's. I think it needs just a little more break in, and the rear seats being down might be contributing to noise. For those looking into it, I suggest you test drive one with it first. I knew it was audible at low RPM, but it is actually louder than I expected. It's new to me, so I expect like any part I need to get used to it.

I like mine. For me it is the perfect mix of loud, nice tone but not get the neighbours too pissed.

I have had this exhaust with no other engine mods (including no aftermarket air filter). There are many exhaust for this car some I would have considered but can be perhaps to loud for the police in my area. Some of them are lighter such as the single exhaust which I would consider if they were legal in CA. I drive in the hills and don't want to annoy police as they can be perhaps more bored than in higher crime areas thus go after petty violations.. I was concerned with the TRD not being loud enough because it is from TRD. Boy was I wrong, it is definitely loud enough for my taste. I can definitely notice a difference. I Like it and recommend it. Sure there can be better ones out there that are louder or quieter and lighter. It is nice to have a legal exhaust : )

I've heard that the TRD exhaust is actually one of the quieter ones but can also be droney.

No drone or boomy-ness for me. Besides the loud cold starts that screams in my apartment underground parking, it's a bit more quieter since I installed it 8 months ago.

Thinking of going with JDL catted UEL headers sooooon and tune it with OFT's stage 2 tune to finally get rid of the torque dip.

Once your hearing gets a little worse, it becomes much more tolerable.

lol I had the same reaction when I got my Invidia N1 installed.

at first it was way too loud but I was slowly getting used to it.

I've got the silencers installed now though (mainly for the gf and my mom),they made a huge difference. It also makes daily driving easier to bear with in my opinion

Hahaha sorry I meant the silencers are there cause they complain about the loudness. Dude if I had silencers for them I'd be selling that shit like crazy!
