Tune to lower cold start redline

So I found out that on 1st gen brz's that there were tunes that lowered the high rpms during a cold start. Hopefully the same can be achieved with the 2nd gen, in the case that they can I just had a few questions since this is the first time I'll experience a tune that does that

1.) so cats take longer to warm up, so during warm up just drive much easier? does the car warm up that much slower or is it a small difference?

2.) does it dramatically decrease the loudness? Instead of blaring, is it just a loud low roar? Really curious on this because there are people that live above the garage I rent, they've already complained about my old civic si with a catless downpipe and they did the same w the brz, recently moved units to the one next to me because of that but hoping to not have issues w the person living above it now.

3.) were OTS tunes generally safe with the 1st gens? clutches can hold the power fine?

thank you very much all

It is my understanding that it is the valve overlap that causes the noise, similarly to antilag in turbo cars it lets the combustion extend into the exhaust.

So rpm doesn't really play as much of a factor in the cold start noise as you would think.

Tunes will dramatically help the loudness whenever tuning is available.

OTS tunes are totally fine. Clutch handles NA power fine.

If you are only tuning to lower cold start noise, its probably best to leave the tune stock. Not worth potential warranty issues with tuning only for this.
