Retune needed for pulley change?

Currently running a JR C30 supercharger with the higher boost 100mm pulley and flex fuel tune. Going to replace the 100mm pulley with the 90mm version they now offer. Other than lowering the rev limiter to avoid over spinning the compressor, does the tune itself need to be modified?

Any significant changes to the induction or exhaust require a proper tune to function CORRECTLY. Plenty of people toss on a header 'due to because subaru sounds' without tuning, and wonder why they have a CEL and their car isn't any faster.

But since you're asking questions like this, and you've managed to already install a supercharger kit and flex fuel, I suggest starting here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81493

It's a good read to remind yourself of some of the basics that can be easy to forget once you're past a few of the 'honeymoon mods'.

Depends on whether the tune is done with the headroom for more airflow. It may need one, it may not.

Spoke with James yesterday and it's just some minor alterations needed. We will do some street tuning together once I have the new pulley installed. helps that we live in the same town.

Perfect, that's the correct course of action!

Most tuners will make minor map adjustments for very little. Some even free depending on the changes and your requirements.
