Just not going to have them.

No. Without the muffler, the stock bumper cover/faux diffuser thing just creates drag. That was the main reason I removed it.

Yes. I plan to make my own diffuser as soon as possible, once I'm done working on my house.

Not with all the current mods. I know there are a few day time shots pre-control arms.

But I rather do FT-86 Speed Factory's exhaust cover

I still want to hear what you're doing about the reverse lights. Unless of course, you're just leaving it as is and hoping people can guess correctly when you're reversing. LOL

Shouldn't this be in Exterior Modifications?

Love that you chopped up the rear bumper man, it looks fantastic! I'll be following in your steps soon enough, but I'm going straight after a big rear diffuser. The reverse light issue is the only thing I'm still trying to figure out.

Somehow integrate it into your taillights!

But then again, it may still become a problem as it would have to be have to meet DOT standard...

I know that without the muffler, there is bad drag with a single exit. What I didn't know, was if removing that piece completely was just as bad or worse for the drag.

Keep us updated on your diffuser. I'm very interested in seeing what you come up with. You should write-up a DIY once you finish. If it looks good and works good, I may consider doing something similar in the future.
