Never had a good port made outside of Portugal. I've tried many U.S. Made ports from some of the best California wineries, and they suck. Best value I've found in US is Costco 10 year tawny. It's made by Taylor Fladgate one of the oldest port houses, and about half the price of a 10 year Taylor. You found one drinkable for $5, that's amazing.

I used to buy 2 buck Chuck reds. I'd buy a case and put it upside down in a cool place for a year. Made a very good dinner wine, and at $2 you didn't care if you opened a bottle and had a glass, then didn't get to the rest before it went bad. Great for making Sangria.

I'm going to toss it. I also found my timing light, but I need that for the 911.

Don't you still have points on the 911?

I put in a points eliminator kit decades ago. Even with points you use a feeler guage. I only ever used the dwell meter with American v8s.

Dwell not being critical with four or six-banger makes sense. I've never had to use one.

I don't think you can. Distributor cap doesn't have a silver door. I only remember ever seeing them on old V8s. And the points don't have an adjustment.

A dwell meter is attached so that the red lead on your meter is attached to the negative terminal on the ignition coil. -

If that is so, why does the set of points have a slot in the bottom plate?
