I thought it was just me I get the same kind of attention, but I don't care. I love this car.

That is because you have the "Firestone" red instead of the more standard Firestorm red. Nobody likes a tire coloured car.

Noticed this too, but I dont think it has anything to do with the specific type of car. I think girls are just less likely to approach or talk to random guys on the street, its like a survival instinct. Plus female car enthusiasts are rare.

My girlfriend doesnt know the difference between most car brands. She'll point out cars that she thinks looks nice, but she wouldn't go up to the driver lol.

LOL, I forgot to correct that, the sales person told me that was the color code, I learned she was wrong... but still had written it in. thanks for the reminder (sigh)

EDIT: Yes it's worth tuning an AT lol
Well said. I just bought my son a 13 AT FRS. We BOTH love it.

OP, this thread brings back memories. I have had my AT WRX wagon since May 2003 and I just got an AT 16 BRZ. I have my winter and summer DD cars, both silver. Both are great cars. Modded the WRX to stage 2 with so many suspension mods. I just love it, 116k and running strong. I remember all the fanbois laughing at my AT, while they were spinning bearings because they can't drive stick for crap or did too many clutch dumps. It's your car do what you want, never do something because a bunch of idiots on the internet tell you to do it. My advice is to mod slow. Research and do one mod at a time so you can really feel the difference (or not) it makes. And remember balance, ther are so many high HP cars that can go fast in a straight line but really are not good for much else. Not saying that's not fun, but this car drives so well, don't mess it up.

Exactly my thoughts been enjoying my 15 AT FRS zero regrets, after owning 4 MT cars.

That moment when a guy on the internet tells you not to take advice from the internet, then gives advice.

On the internet.

if you read it in context then you would know in this case he meant car tuning as in the general modification of the performance of the vehicle not tuning the engine with a tablet or shit. yes these are two different things by the way

I don't give a shit if you think the Auto sucks. It does bother me a LOT when you're always bitching about the younger generation.

If you have nothing good to say about them just STFU.
