Steering wheel defect

Hello

After my gt86 has been in the body and paint shop, in the retailer and in the Toyota mechanic shop, I saw a difference in tone in that part in the area marked on the steering wheel, which makes me think that it suffered some hit.

I have no way to prove it because I don't know where it went.

I'm looking for a solution, apart from the original part that I'm not sure that part is sold separately from the steering wheel.

Any idea or a website where they sell covers or other accessories for that area?

Thanks you

I have found the oem part, but the bezel is sold together with the controls or so it seems.

Yep they do not sell it separately.

There are not many options for customizing the 2017+ wheel trim. I wanted mine to be black so I just vinyl wrapped it. Easy to reverse later if I need to.

If you are into overlay CF there is this: https://www.ftspeed.com/part/fr-s-br...yota-86-17-brz

thanks.

I saw that from the axis manufacturer.

What I don't understand is how there are so many sellers on AliExpress and wish selling the same for the previous steering wheel but not for this one.

The older pieces are less complex and easier to reproduce. The new ones being one-piece are significantly more work to replicate. That's why.

it's also possible that enough time has lapsed that the older plastic molds have fallen out of tolerance enough for toyota/subaru's standards that they were sold off to a number of bargain companies that now churn out reproductions for cheaper.
