How long did it take? Did you have to take any components out to press out the old bushes?

Last couple of days.

Put the rear interior, carpet and trunk pieces back in. Detailed the interior. Going on a short trip soon and wanted to dull the noise and make it it a bit more habitable lol

Removed the rear whitline sway bar due to noise. I have to figure that out yet. Squeak, squeak, SQUEAK!

Ran two 30 min sessions on the west track at CMP yesterday. I was in good company, this old Datsun ran in the group and made some cool noises.

RIP to the outter edge of my driver front tire. Needs more camber, and probably a rotation between sessions.

DIY Upgrades

Wussup Gang

My first time on this platform.

I'm busy upgrading my clutch and flywheel, using the OEM parts:
- Re-compounding the clutch plate with high performance compound
- Skimming the flywheel friction surface as well as taking some meat of the back.

I want to build a DIY custom turbo kit for my car and need some help, is there anyone that can assist?

Thank you.

Get stronger rated parts. OEM is not going to handle a turbo kit as you turn up boost or run e85. Southbend is very OEM like just beefed up

WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR FRS TODAY?

Installed the 80mm Tomei frontpipe and overpipe. Now I’m just waiting for the catback to come in September and the car will have a full Tomei exhaust. It already sounds crazy right now, the catback is gonna make it a little quieter but it’s gonna sound way nicer than the muffler delete that’s on the car.

Make sure you wear gloves when handling titanium, and if you make contact with it, wipe it with rubbing alcohol before you start it!

Also if anybody is wondering, the Tomei 80mm frontpipe fits the stock midpipe.

So I had some stripes added to my car by 9Livery today and I'm REALLY impressed with how much the pattern matches my TRD fins. Probably the only thing that sucks is that the TRD CF patterns are not as noticeable from afar, but then again perhaps the unintended subtlety is a good thing.
