Help with Racerx rear upper control arm install
Anyone here install these? Having trouble getting the ball joint on the stock ones out from the hub, anyone got some tips to possibly ease this part?
Thanks. |

I used a chisel as a wedge to spread the hole wider so the ball joint would come out. It took more force than I was expecting, but once done the control arm came out somewhat easy.

Ball joint seperater and a deadblow hammer. Hit the bejuses out of it. They are a pita. Also make sure your ebrake is off so the hub isnt locked in place

Make sure you loosen the pitch bolt, sounds obvious but might have overlooked it. Never hurts to also spray a little WD-40 (or equivalent) as well.
