At what milage did your OEM tires start to lose grip?

I just crossed 7K this morning, and I have noticed that the last couple hundred miles, there has been more slippage.

When should I rotate the tires?

whatever the recommended maintenance manual says. I think it was around every 7k-8k miles you would rotate the tires. I did mine around 8k.

Did you do it yourself?
Have it done at the dealer?
Or go somewhere local?

I pulled mine off to put the snows on around 10k km's, they were getting greasy but it was also cold (~3-5 C) and rainy.

Or that just proves you don't know how to drive and should get a few lessons!
