All depends on if your dealership has any frs on the lot. If so, u have to wait another month at least. DVN just got allotted 4 cars. And only once a month they get the allottment. Poor of the dealer though for not returning your call.

Not sure what the status of your order is, but I imagine it must be similar to mine. I ordered two days after you (July 7), the same order.

As of last Thursday, apparently mine is built and somewhere on the Pacific, and once it gets to port I'll get a VIN/ETA.

Then again it's a different dealer so who knows. Mine is apparently #2 total sales volume for any manufacturer in all of Canada so they may get more allocations.

I was wondering if they could chip in on how much their FRS cost. Right now I am being offered $30872 (+255 for white?) - that's everything included.

Anyone have better luck in getting a better deal or if I could negotiate further ?

I am in no rush to get the car yet as my lease is due January 2013.

If you ordered the car now, you can expect to get it in 6-10 months, so you're looking March to July.

Any deal on a car this much in demand is a good win. Dealers have no reason to cut any deals right now.

Are you serious !? 6-10 months ?! I thought it was 2-3 months only ! I didn't discuss in details with the dealer yet but if it's 6-10 months then that's too long of a wait ! By then the 2014 will be out...

Yeah. I ordered 72 days ago (July 7) and still don't even have a VIN or ETA. Wait times are apparently even longer now.

so guys this is kinda stupid....so i got my frs from weitzes toyota....but before that i already called my dealer and cancelled my deposit at don valley so they said its ok blah blah blah.....and 2 days ago they called me saying that they got a frs....and i was lk too late ive already gotten another car....then he went lk o no u cnt return ur deposit yet....its a 90days policy......then i was lk wtf? im just wondering if any1 will be interested to take it over its an asphalt auto with audio upgrade....thanks

I think you're trying to say you have an Asphalt AT with stereo upgrade available at Don Valley North Scion since you purchased at Weitzes Scion.

You'd like to get your deposit back but can't unless someone else takes your place? The advantage that I see is that the person wanting an Asphalt AT won't have to enter the wait list...

Checked yesterday with my dealer and the status is "in production"....

Is there any good explanation for this status? Or is it just a placeholder?

Checked with a Subaru dealership today on their availability.

The salesperson mentioned that June orders are now schedule to be delivered in October at their dealership. If you put in an order today you're looking at Feb/Mar 2013.

If it says its in production, it means exactly that. It is being built for you in Japan. Once its out of "in production" it'll say something like On ship and once its in Vancouver it'll say "At port of entry". After that i'll say "on rail to Toronto". Relax. You'll get it when its ready

Thanks for the info....yes patience is indeed hard at this point - especially without any idea of an ETA after being told Aug. when I placed my order

Staying positive though...hoping to get it to enjoy some of the fall colors. I can only drive my civic so many times to the meets!
