I was asking a similar question recently.... Andrew was kind enough to give the answer below... B8's were on my list; but after what Andrew said, Ill save a few dollars and just the B6's.

Bilstein B6 with RCE Tarmac springs is a pretty good combo. The 5 kg/mm spring rate is within the range of what the B6s can handle.

Few questions here:
1)Do these trophy cup coilovers require adjustable front and back endlinks?
2) Any update on ETA? Still April 1st 2018?
3) I found a brand new set of PSS10 for $1949 CAD from a local vendor here and if you were me would you wait for his trophy cup or go for PSS10? I have a set of 18x9.5+45 which I afraid cannot clear the Pss10 springs.

Thanks!

That's a really good deal in canadian dollars for that pss10. If you are just driving on the street with stock top mounts, it's a good option. But if you are doing track days or auto-x or something, the RCE parts are better, mainly because of the springs which are stiffer and better balanced. Converting the pss10 to the same spring setup requires 4 linear straight springs, helpers, spacers, and upper spring perches. $600 is probably a low estimate if you bought all that new in canadian dollars.

It won't be April 1st. We're working hard to get these out ASAP but we're just waiting on Bilstein at this point. Still planning on spring, but no firm date yet.

Will update on pricing soon.

I really want to give RCE the benefit of the doubt here, but I seriously don't understand how a company can have 1.5 YEARS of "supply issues." Is the squeaky wheel not loud enough?

Bilstein has been redoing their entire US warehouse system. It's a massive restructuring and has completely upended their supply chains. What this means is their is essentially NOTHING in stock for pretty much any car and NO production dates. Not just RCE/GTWORX parts. Not just Subaru. No one can get anything period and I can't get an ETA.

We're very unhappy, too. And it's insane quite frankly...I can't buy Bilsteins for a family member's BMW, for my own BRZ, for a MINI...nothing is available. This has got to be doing major damage...we're a small player but the big guys are having the same issue and I'm sure they're even more pissed. Check tirerack's site for stock levels on Bilsteins HD, Sport, and coilovers for any modern car.

Anyway, yeah I'm upset. I wish we knew it would be like this 1.5 years ago. I apologize for being too optimistic about the timeline of this project.

I've been getting told "august" for various sets of pss9/10s. And even a set of B8/B8 shocks for these cars might be a little hard to track down right now.

Yup. Bilstein B6 is backorder no "real" ETA for BRZ.
